In the War of the Revolution he left his family of very young children to serve in the Sixth Battalion with Captain Jacob Peterman. D.A.R. lists George as having died in the war. We cannot dispute this, because we have no records of children being born to George & Ann Maria after 1783. He lived in Whitehall Township. We have the following children listed for his, which is all we could find in the church & court records. We have no history at this time of the family in Whitehall Township.
