Born: 1787 Died: 22- Sept 1798; S/O Casper & Maria Schmidt Hepler. Benjamin was baptized at Zionsville Upper Milford Lutheran Church.
He was the first death in the new settlement. He died at age 11. A cemetery was started on
the Hepler farm. It was named "Gottes Acker" (God's Acre)
and his little grave was the first in a long row of
Hepler graves. He is buried next to his parents.
