S/O Casper & Maria Schmidt Hepler. 1st married Salome Beisel, D/O Jacob & Gertrude Wagner Beisel. Salome is the mother of George's children. George & Salome are buried in Zion's Cemetery, Pitman, Pa. His will is found in Will Book #1, page 14. The family was Lutheran by faith. They were members of Howerter's Church where George was a Deacon and deligate to Synod. He was active in community affairs, and served as tax collector for his township. He was 2nd. married to Elizabeth Reiner Yoder.
