Born: 14- Oct 1801 Died: 28- Jan 1821; D/O Casper & Maria Schmidt Hepler. Gertrude was an invalid. She is buried at Zion Cemetery, Pitman, Pa. The only child of Casper Jr. and Anna Maria to be born in Mahantongo Township, Mahantongo Valley. At that time it was still Berks County. In 1911 it became Schuylkill County.
