Born Upper Milford Twp, Northampton County, (now Lehigh). He was confirmed at age 16 yrs. at Zion Lehigh Union Luth. Church at Alburtis by Rev. Van Burskirk. Both John and Maria are buried Zions Cemetery, Pitman, Pa.. John's will was probated in German 3-11-1834 and recorded in Pottsville Court House Will book #1. Maria Maurer Hepler is the D/O Daniel Maurer and Regina Wagner
