A few words about navigating this site:

What you will not find on these pages are signs saying "Best Viewed Using...", nor will you find Frames, Java, Active-X and those other features that lock people with older browsers out of the web site. I also don't send "cookies". If you want them, get some from your kitchen, but remember I like chocolate chip!! I believe a page should be enjoyed by all regardless of browser type and version. What you will find here, is hopefully some useful information about the Hepler Family on easy to navigate pages. Some of the pages have photos & sound that may take a few minutes to load. I hope that after the page loads, that you will find that it was well worth the wait and that the sounds & images add to your viewing pleasure. On some pages, you will see four ships that will sail you to various pages or you can click on "Next Page" to continue. At some point, you will reach web pages created from my gedcom database, you will also find shortcuts to the database on some pages. You can continue to click on names or use your browser arrows to go forward or backward. Once you are in the database, there is no direct link back to this or any of the other main pages. You will have to use your back arrow to return. On some pages, you will see a grave icon indicating that there is a photograph of that persons gravestone. You may also see a camera icon indicating a photograph of the person or place. Clicking on these icons will load the photograph. Some pages include midi music for your enjoyment as you read the page. I tried to pick music to bring out the mood of the page. To get the most out of the experience, I recommend that you adjust your volume to a comfortable level and read the page in its entirety while enjoying the music before clicking on links you encounter throughout the page. I hope you enjoy your visit to the Hepler pages.

If you would like a copy of my Hepler Gedcom file (hepler.ged) that includes all the surnames shown on the Paul Family Genealogy Pages and a copy of the Hepler "Crest" in .bmp format to use as Windows wallpaper, Click Here. (last updated: 12/26/97) It will download a self-extracting archive. Run hepler.exe in a temp directory and it will extract both hepler.ged and crest.bmp. To retain the accuracy of the family data, all information must be used in it's entirety. You may add or modify data but can not delete any records.  Move the crest.bmp file into your Windows directory. If you would like to be included in that gedcom file, send me information on how you are related and the information you would like included and I will add it to the database to share with others. Dates for living people are masked to protect their privacy.

I hope you enjoyed the pages as much as I did putting them together. Thank you for visiting and come back again soon.
