The original mailing list was created to help Hepler descendants find missing information in their Hepler genealogy research and to pass along information regarding events such as the Hepler Reunions, new books, and discussions about the Hepler Family. Jim Wise has started a much better information mailing list and message board on Rootsweb. I encourage everyone to visit his Rootsweb site at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~jimssite/hepler/ . The majordomo@jtan.com list will now be used basically as a Reunion Committee communication media to keep everyone informed about reunions, new trips, books, etc. . Jim's HEPLER-L@rootsweb.com and GenConnect boards will provide a way to share genealogy information with each other.
The two lists each provide a different service to you and we hope you subscribe to and benefit from each one.
